 Can your children use pen tablets?
| My son is only 8 months old, but he's already taken a shining to our magnetic drawing board. The next logical steps will be a Wacom tablet (maybe a Graphire to begin with) and 'Decrevel and Son Illustration'. He will certainly use a pen tablet, it's sturdy and simple, and will help develop his coordination and drawing skills. (Louis Decrevel, Australia) |

Sonic Wire Sculptor: Literally drawing music
The Sonic Wire Sculptor is an experimental piece of software by programmer & musician Amit Pitaru. The canvas rotates on a vertical axis allowing you to draw 3D wire sculptures, but Pitaru has also assign musical tones to the canvas; high tones for the top of the canvas and low tones for the bottom. The addition of this 4th dimension of time means that as the canvas rotates, the wire sculpture plays music according to its shape. You literally draw music! Not for practical use, but it is a thought-provoking, fascinating, and most of all, fun artistic instrument!
